Interval Recovery Companion

A private, low-friction recovery companion that turns clinical plans into a manageable rhythm at home.

A patient following a guided stretching routine

Interval helps patients at Wellow Fields Medical follow rehabilitation plans, notice meaningful changes, and share concise progress with clinicians.

Between appointments

Recovery plans at Wellow Fields Medical arrived as dense printouts at a moment when attention was already stretched. Patients needed a simple answer to “what should I do today?” — without rehabilitation becoming another performance metric.

We built the daily experience around a short plan, clear demonstrations, and a check-in that takes less than a minute. The product distinguishes between expected discomfort and signals that require clinical attention.

Progress without pressure

Instead of streaks, Interval shows patterns over time and makes missed days ordinary. Patients control what is shared, and clinicians receive a concise view built around change — not a stream of notifications.

Safety in the interaction

  • Every exercise preserves the clinician’s written guidance.
  • Escalation language is direct and reviewed by clinical staff.
  • Motion can be reduced without losing instructional meaning.
  • Sensitive notes remain local until the patient chooses to share.

Designed with the practice

Wellow Fields’ physiotherapists were in the design loop from week one — reviewing copy, challenging tone, and shaping the escalation flow. Their involvement meant the tool answered the practice’s real concerns, not our assumptions about them.

Outcome

In the pilot, patients completed more of their prescribed plan and arrived at follow-ups with clearer questions. Clinicians spent less appointment time reconstructing the weeks between visits — and Wellow Fields has since rolled Interval out across its whole rehabilitation service.
